    When “Capriana” first broke ground a few years ago on the southeast tip of La Floresta, many were curious and visited their single level model homes. To the surprise (and confusion) to most, conventional purchases of the homes were not offered.

    With Del Webb’s Buena Vida homes, buyers over 55 years of age will be able to purchase like a normal home through cash, conventional financing, and possibly FHA loans. If the project becomes FHA approved, a reverse mortgage purchase is an option where a buyer will not have a monthly payment after placing a significant amount as downpayment.

    Details on the home sizes were not available at the time of creating this blog. For the single level designs, expect them to be similar to prior communities they’ve built recently ranging from 1,474 to 1,981 square feet. They have offered designs as large as 2,571 square feet in other cities, but it’s tough to imagine them offering larger floorplans in a dense area like Brea. Many of the homes will have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.

      I am very interested in a single story detached home in north OC as I have lived her since 1961. I have lost my husband in 2015 and Mother last month and will be looking to relocate the end of the year and am anxiously waiting to know about you two new developments in La Floresta.
