Fall Must-Haves for the Home

As we say goodbye to the final days of summer, we say hello to fall aesthetics. It’s true that here in Sunny Southern California, we don’t really experience a huge season change, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make your own! Here are some fall decor ideas that you must start adding to your home to help you get in that Autumn spirit!

    Did someone say Pumpkin Spice?
From candles to air fresheners, and even carpet deodorizers, nothing will help you feel the season change more than the all-powerful sense of smell. Even if you’re not into the Pumpkin Spice trend, investing in warm scents like Apple Cider or Cinnamon will really bring your home into Fall.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of Your Porch!
Sure, it’s not yet time for jack-o-lanterns and cobwebs, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get festive. Try a colorful fall wreath, a new welcome mat, or even a couple of oversized lanterns framing your front door.  After all, your porch and entryway give the first impression of your home, and you want to make it a good one!

Throw Blankets, Pillows, & Florals, oh my!
It’s not necessary to complete a total living room makeover just to achieve a new look. Adding one or two new throw blankets in warm colors (think: reds, oranges, or deep yellows) in addition to fun throw pillows and new flowers in the coffee table vase, and voila! You’ve now got a fall-themed space that’s cozy enough for your family while still trendy enough for entertaining guests!

    Upgrade The Coffee Bar
Do you love your morning (and let’s face it, afternoon and sometimes evening) coffee or tea? Many stores and coffee shops alike typically sell seasonal coffees and teas (bags, pods, etc) depending on the time of year. There are tons to choose from, plus the aromas help in making your house smell AMAZING! Paired with seasonal creamers and fun autumn mugs, each cup will feel like a relaxing retreat, even if it is still 90 degrees outside.
