How to Update Your Landscape Before an Open House

    Just like the interior of your home the exterior of your home is an important aspect to upgrade if you are planning to have an open house to sell your home. Whether you’re landscape is need of an overhaul or just some minor touch ups, these tips will help you get started.

    1. Plant Fresh Greenery

    A great way to update any landscape is to plant some fresh and new plants. Its out with the old in with the new. Add new flowers, grass, or tress can really update that monochromatic shrubbery.

    2. Reshape Overgrown Shrubs

    Give those over grown trees or bushes a nice need hair cut. It’s a good idea to keep the cut year round, but if you’ve let them get out of hand, giving them an over due trim will spruce up your landscapes appearance.

    3. Fix Leaky Plumbing

    If there is a leaky faucets outside be sure to mend the leak. Hopefully the leak hasn’t lead to a more serious plumbing issue, but you don’t want o increase those chances as you wait for a sale to go throughout.

    4. Clean Dirty Surface

    Time to clean up all that grime and dirt that has built up over the years. A great way to deep clean is using a power washer, which will help lift hard to scrub surfaces such as concrete or brick.
